I have an American toad that is approximately 7 months old and is and inch long(from nose to rear). He has consitently been on a diet of meal worms and crickets for the past three weeks. One week ago, however, he stopped eating. I am concerned as it has been some time since he last ate, and he was always eating well. I dont know why he has stopped eating, all the conditions in his environment have remained relatively stable. He does not look emaciated and is actually looking fat, but does not try to eat anything i put in front of him. The temperature gets down to about 60 degrees at night and is usually 70 to 75 during the day. If anyone can tell me what to do to get him to eat again i will be extremely grateful. Please reply soon, as I dont want him to become sick and possibly die.

I was unsure if he is attempting to hibernate, and if he is how do I stop him or make sure he doesnt become ill if he does hibernate?
