Question Un-cycled Whites trying to breed?

I have 3 Whites Tree frogs, one blue phaze and 2 indonesians. The indonesian male is the dominat(SP) one. So, this morning, I turned on the lights, and lo and behold the male was on the (also indonesian) female....doing froggy things... ~o(.)-(.)o~ So, will there be tadpoles? We have the materials to make a rain tank, and have been wanting to breed them for awhile, but, does the male need to be on the female while the eggs are realeased? They have a pond in which they can lay eggs if they want, but it would be nice to have the babies in one spot...any tips would be great!

By un-cycled, she probably means that she have not simulated any seasons in order to make them breed (dry season -> rain season).
Amplexus does not mean they'll lay eggs for sure and they probably won't if you haven't done the appropriate "cycling". Just keep an eye out for any eggs, but it was probably just a male that got over eager.

And yes, they need to be in amplexus while the eggs are laid, since the male fertilizes them out the way out from the females body.

In nature, if its gonna happen, its gonna happen, sure it is unlikely if they havnt been cycled but its not unheard of
