    Default Help Dying plants

    Alright today I stopped by lowes to see their selection of plants, I found a pothos (score!), they also had some Bromiliads that were on clearance I paid $5 for two nice big ones, now the flowers on them look like they're dying can somebody help me, What's going on?! also is pothos a climbing plant? pics below, somebody help me save them

    All I have in my tree frogs viv is a pothos and he loves it. Awesome climbing plant imo.

    That might be the reason they're on clearance. Just a thought.

    It's normal for bromeliad flowers to die, just as it is with other flowers.
    Much bromeliads will either stop growing after flowering, or die soon after.
    They form pups from the base of the old plant that flowered, forming new plants again.

    The pothos is a climbing plant indeed

    I took a closer look at the bromiliad is this thing the pup?

    That's a pup allright

    You best leave it on for a while, it will gradually grow bigger, this one is still to small to seperate.
    Probably it will produce some more pups over time, but it's a start already
