    It looks female to me. Head looks short and small in comparison to the body. I have seen females with a lot of color so that isn't really out of the ordinary. But sometimes you can't go by look cause once that creature croaks its male!

    Hi Bobby,how old is he/she?
    Beside the lack of yellow on the throat/armpits,a femaly should usually retain the stripe in the middle of the back...and,looking at his/her head I wouldn't be so sure for a female,it looks quite broaded to me.Finally...time will tell
