Looks too young to tell. If I had to guess I would have to say male due to the head size to body ratio.

At first I was thinking female, but looking through the pictures a couple times: now it seems it's looking more like a male. There's a link on the african bullfrog care sheet to a soundfile that is the call of a male african bullfrog. To be honest, I don't think it will do much. Just stay up kind of late with the lights off and all quiet; it will happen sooner or later depending on the sex.
He is a bottomless pit. I have him on B fusca roaches right now and he destroys them as for his attitude and habbits I was in a different room and I kept hearing a loud banging noise every few seconds. I walked into my room and saw Bruce slamming into the side of his tank trying to get to my fusca colony in the tank next to him. I have put a visualbarrier between them and the tank bashing has stoppedhealth digs alot of holes and has way more personality than my cranwells pacman the same size. He always has that "who...me?" expression on his face
I would say male. Give him some time to croak. Listen to the sound so you know what to listen for. Its not as loud as you think it may be, especially if the tank has a glass/plexi lid. That "who me" expression is why I named my frog Diesel. I've had him for two months and hes getting big quick. No measurements yet but I would guess 4". Diesel was slightly larger than a quarter when I got him. In the first pic hes about a month old. The last two are within the last two weeks. He had his first mouse last week in the third photo.
