    Default New baby!

I just picked up this beauty today after months of searching after a lost a member of my trio last year. Though I currently have two adults at home (a male and a female), I do not have a gift for sexing these frogs. I know it is young and very small (about the size of a toonie), if anyone is willing to hazard a guess at the sex, it would be appreciated! Thanks!

Ya hi, im rather good at sexing these little guys. Your baby is extremely small tho, im guessing what? like an inch and a half if that? When I have 30-40 frogs a dead give away is personality. I can choose males from females soley on that. How is his attitude? is he aggresive towards you? once again he is tiny. I'm going to venture a guess at male due to his *** to head ratio, eye size, and the start of yellow around the pits at such a young age. but just a guess. Hit me up with some pics in a few weeks and let me know his/her growth rate!

Wayyyy to early to tell. When I got my new frog in december, he was TINY. He has a feisty personality, but so did my female at his age. Thought he was a female till one night he thoroughly scared my girlfriend at night with his croaks. To me, the croak is the sure way to tell.

Yeah, I know it's too early to tell...just wishful thinking on my part! John sexed my male, Kadesh, correctly when he was just a bit bigger than this one, so I was hoping someone would be able to do the same. I have a boy name picked out, but I don't want to call it that until I know for sure. Sigh. Patience is a must. I will keep any eye on it and see. So far, it is an aggressive little feeder, but very skittish, though it sure likes to puff itself up when you get too close! Thanks for throwing a guess out there, Mikey-I am hoping for a boy but as long as it is happy and healthy, I am lucky!

Grats on the pickup. Still too young but in one of the picture it look like it could be a female.

LOL! Girl...boy....I guess I just have to wait and find out. Like opening a Christmas present real slow! Not too worried either way. I finally picked a name that would fit both: Dziko. Suits the little green blob who is determined to eat me out of house and home!
