The screen doesn't touch it just egg crate and the pump about 3 inches of vynil tubing from the
Misting system I'll put pics up later
dye from the substrate?
How long have you had the water set up for? Do you have anything in the water yet? (fish/aquatic plants etc)
no substrate, nothing is in the water but the egg crate and the pump, like I said above, ive had it set up little over a week
Does it feel like surfaces under the water are covered in slime? Brown algae is a common problem in newly established aquariums. It can cause cloudy water and clear/brownish slime. It can also be cause by low light conditions. Do a water change if you can, otherwise get some lucky bamboo to grow in your water. I've heard the bamboo is an effective way to fight brown algae. (I am currently fighting brown algae in one of my tanks, and that was the advice given to me by a friend. I have not yet tried, so I can't say if it works or not.)
i have two 6800k lights, also its not standing water, theres a pump I treated the water with reptisafe
