Has anyone ever seen a frog with a short or deformed finger?
See my white's stubby left fore finger.

he hunts and climbs well, as you can see, so he doesn't require any special care other that required for a normal white's.

Forget about the finger, you got bigger problems, your frog turned red!!! (lol, just kidding)

I'm sure the short finger is nothing to be concerned about. Probably an injury from before you owned him.

Haha! The red is a result of my crappy camera and his red heat lamp I use during the day!

UncleChester has a gray tree frog with a very deformed hand. I'd say it's nothing to worry about.

Yep, I have a Hyla versicolor with a front left hand that never developed properly. Actually his entire left arm is stunted. A baby pic is attached. A few fingers have popped out of his hand since this photo but they're pretty useless when it comes to moving around. He doesn't get around as well as my other fully functioning Greys and it's especially noticeable when he tries to climb on the glass. He's mobile enough to have no problem hunting though.

Did your White's finger never develop properly or was it an injury?

It looks to me that it is underdeveloped, not a previous injury. He has a pad on the end, but the finger is much smaller than the other hand. I was just curious if anyone had seen this before on a frog. I've had the frog for about 3 1/2 months, and he was that way when I brought him home (didn't notice his hand at the petstore).

By the way, your gray tree frog is very handsome also!
