whats the difference?
To be honest, I am not sure of all the differences...but I know in the USA you can't find live blood worms (I assumed this is the red worm you were talking about). The have nearly the same amount of protein but the black worm is an actual live worm you can keep where as the bloodworm is actually a larva you buy frozen.
I hope someone else sees this and can comment in more detail.

He could be referring to red wigglers too. That is what I first thought when I read the title.
