I feed Burn every other night. Every 3rd feeding is dusted with calcium powder. Whatever he doesn't eat goes back into the cricket keeper. Also, one thing you can probably do to see if its a he or she, play some "rainforest sounds" like an mp3 or on youtube or whatever. I did that one night and Burn was calling like crazy.
ok...i read to feed juviniles every day...how do i gut load the crickets?
lol ill have to do that...
As exciting as it is owning this beautiful frog, you should probably let him/her be for a good week or two so it can get adjusted to it's new home. Keep it in a quiet room and complete darkness at night. When I moved Burn into his new viv I left him in the quietest part of the house, completely covered his tank, and just misted during the day while he slept. Right before lights out I would leave him crickets every night in his bowl just to spark his interest in them. After about a solid week he's been fine in his new viv, calling like a maniac, eating every time he's fed, and doing his nightly routine stroll through his home. Hope this helps.
Beautiful frog! Great pics too!!!
thanku xD
