    Default Female Pyxie Frog

Hey everyone, haven't posted in a while so I apologize for my lack of posts. A lot has been going on in my personal life, so my time has been getting devoured by other things unfortunately. One thing which was actually a good thing, I moved into a new apartment. But, they found out how many animals I have and are making me get rid of a bunch or else I can't live there. I have snakes too, so I'm going to have to find new homes for them too. Really, really bites...But I gotta do what I gotta do...

A little while back, I purchased a female pyxie from the White Plains Expo in NY. I was just getting in frogs back then, and absolutely loved her fat little self when I saw her so I bought her. I originally used to keep her on coco fiber, but she didn't like it and actually stopped eating. Jimifrog, helped me out with an all water set up, and she's been doing great ever since. I use a fluval 209 canister filter to keep up with her, and works extremely well at keep the water crystal clear. Always likes to eat, just doesn't like crickets and smaller insects. Loves roaches!

Anyways, I'm going to need to find her a home because I just don't have room for her tank here, and once again I'm being forced to down size. I'd love to keep her, but it's just not the right timing. I was looking for someone on here who would be interested in giving her a home. I would like to sell her, and her filter together as I don't think it's a good idea for her to be on dirt. I probably won't be needing a filter for a while so I figured I'd throw that in. I'd like to get $60 cash for the everything including her. I paid over 200 for her, tank, and filter. I think what I'm asking is more then reasonable. I will be at white plains expo, if you want to meet up let me know!! Thanks for checking this out!!

If you have an enclosure, she can be yours for FREE, if you ensure me you're an educated keeper. Please help me find a home, I need to rehome her asap!!

I wish I lived near you. I'd love to give this frog a home! I keep lobster roaches and dubia roaches, AND I have an empty tank that would be perfect for her!

I may be interested, however, I live in lower MI, so I could only take her if you were willing to ship. what size enclosure do you keep her in? I've never had a pixie before, but I have two pacman frogs, water dragons, new caldonian geckos, and I started breeding darts too.

I have an empty 40 gal breeder, and considerable experience, with Pixies, Pacs, tree frogs, etc. I have an established roach colony, for feeding my Marine, Pac, and Pixie. Would have to ship her, tho, as I live in the Twin Cities in MN. Please let me know if you find a home for her!! She is beautiful!!

    Woah!!

I forgot about this, because it seemed like no one was expressing much interest initially on this post. But, I actually downsized her enclosure to a 10 gallon to help fit her in my apartment, and she's been doing fine in it. It takes up less room, and I don't think my landlord is going to mind. We'll see what happens, and if all goes well I'll keep her. I'll make sure to update this, or re-post if I still can't keep her. Thanks for all your interest though!!
