I've heard of it, but have never seen it myself. Could be possible skin infection. You might want to take the frog to a herp vet to be checked out and make sure of what it is. Dropsy can also cause this and can be more serious.

Im pretty sure its from hitting there body against the side of the tank or too much humidity

Does it feel like fluid inside? Like a blister? Or is it just a knot?

Its almost like a cold sore look to it. Just gets swollen

Hmm might be an infection if swollen. Even if not you could put Neosporine on the wounds so they dont become infected. Original Neosporine without painkiller of course.
