I will try to post some pics some time this week. I have been holding out for close to a year hoping that a female albino would come around big enough to keep with my "wild type" female Calypso. Today I decided to just get a froglette and grow it out. To my surprise the store I went to also had reticulated albinos mixed in with the albinos. There was also a sale, so I got them for $6.40 each. They are normally $20+ around these parts for wild types and albinos. I looked over a few of them hoping to see signs of them being females. They were just too young still. I went with a hunch, got one of each. Hope I'm right. I love the bulkyness of females. Not into the singing of males either.
I wanted to name them after something big and sea themed, so I decided to name them after aircraft carriers. I went with Kitty and Kennedy. (USS Kittyhawk and USS John F. Kennedy)
Again I will get some pics up in a few days because these threads suck without them.

Congrats! I can't wait to see the pictures! And love the name Kitty.
OK, I should have time tonight to get a couple of pics up of these guys/gals. So far they are great eaters. They ate mysis the first couple of days. Last night they had some reptilmin and ctually ate it. I thought it was going to be tough to get them on it. Hopefully they will be in with Calypso by summer.
Ok, have some pics up. Let's try this.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I will add some more pics in a few weeks. They are already noticeably bigger. Probably about a 40-50% increase in size already. They are eating broken up pieces of Reptilmin and thawed frozen mysis right now.
I just wanted to throw a quick update on here. I have been too busy and lazy to take any new pics due to crazy work schedule and listing/selling our house. The Albino baby is definately female and I am 99.99999% sure the Retic. is a male. Not what I was hoping for, but he is still cute. I have been trying to find time to go and see if the store still has some in stock and see if I can get a female Retic, but the store is a haul from where I live.
How old are they when you can tell the sex?
