Is it possible to keep a diurnal dart frog like D. Leucomelas with red eyes? I've got a 25 gallon tall terrarium with lots of plants and a small shallow pond area and a waterfall. The red eyes have been doing great together, and take turns eating out of the cricket bowl late at night. They are all asleep by 10:00am (except for salsa, who wakes up for a mid-day snack every now and then). My thought was since a dart frog is active in the day, and the red eyes are active at night, that they might be able to coexist in the same terrarium without causing each other any trouble. If it is ok to keep darts and tree frogs together, what species of darts would do well in this arrangement?
Here's a few pictures of my red eyes in their surroundings. All three pictures are of Salsa. Is she adorable or what?
