Ok so I have my 2 babies in one 10 gallon tank, and they are doing fab, lovely bright green, both feeding well, both active as anything, perfect and just as the books said they should be
So when offered another 10 gal tank complete with two more baby froggies I thought hell yeah!
But these two are incredibly different, they both stay dark green/brown, they are both slightly bigger than my babies (about 2.5") The tank has been modified with a running stream and living plants, now heres my worries;
Frog a) frog is getting rather big rather quick (perhaps female) eats well, infact such a piggy that it sits close to the food bowl all night!Sleeps either on the subsrate (moss) or somehow manages to crawl through the smallest gap to climb into the back of the tank where the water filter is kept (trying to break this habbit) This frog also seems rather aggresive! As soon as i open the tank its attacking the forceps I use to get in the gaps and do a spot clean, tries to eat my finger and just doesnt seem to want me there!
Frog b) Sleeps way too much! also considerably smaller than frog a, I have only noticed this frog eat 2 crickets in the week ive had them, and only caught it out of its hiding space twice.
Now should I be worried about these 2 or should I leave them to it?
I am getting a larger tank at some point so all 4 can live together and have plenty of room.
Also yes they are called frog a and frog b until I figure out their traits, then Il find suitable names, currently frog a is close to being called Attila the Hun!
