    Default presentation and question

    Hi!!
this is my first post here!

For 8 years now I have 3 red eyes tree frogs in a Exo-Terra Terrarium (cube 24").

We just bought a new house and I decided to give my frogs a new home too!

    I will get a Atasuki terrarium 48x20x24:

Cant wait to start the new terrarium! It will be planted like my cube.

    So here's my question:
Could I add other tree frog from the same genus to my new terrarium?

    Kingdom: Animalia
    Phylum: Chordata
    Class: Lissamphibia
    Order: Anura
    Family: Hylidae
    Subfamily: Phyllomedusinae
    Genus: Agalychnis

    Blue-Sided Leaf Frog, Agalychnis annae
    Pink-sided Leaf Frog, Agalychnis litodryas
    Morelet's Treefrog, Agalychnis moreletii
    Misfit Leaf Frog, Agalychnis saltator
    Gliding Leaf Frog, Agalychnis spurrelli

    thanks!

as far as im aware u shouldnt. as for space, i think ud have room for more as thats fairly big (im guessin its inches). i was considering gettin a 90x45x45cm tank and was told id get around 4/5 whites in there so i think ud b ok. red eyes are smaller so i dont see why not. it depends tho. with the 3 u have and theyll have more room if u leave it at that. just because u can fit more in doesnt mean u have to. thats my opinion tho. see what some other people say

    thanks for your reply

    yes it's in inch
    48"x20"x24" (122cm long, 50cm wide par 61cm high)

so I cant mix same genus tree frog... for what reason?

could I divide it in 2 sections (with a net) and keep my red eyes on one side and have an other genus on the other??

im honestly not sure about mixing them. as far as im aware u shouldnt mix any. but i really dont know 100%. its just what iv read on forums. i think everyone has different opinions. its like people who will say theve mixed two species of frog, or put a frog and a lizard together. it shouldnt b done but people say theyve done it successfully. ull have to check for sure with someone who is mor informed on the4 subject.

yeh then i dont see why u shouldnt b able to get another in there. i have two whites in a 60x45x60cm and am trying to decide whether to get one more in there. theres room, its just whether my frogs will b ok with another frog, and the fact that theyll have less space.

sorry i cant b of more help on the mixing subject, im sure someone will b able to help
