Hydor Heater questions

I was wondering if anyone uses these?

I'm interested in getting some, but I'm not sure what size to get. They are designed to attach onto canister filters, but I can't find any sort of guide that will tell you which size fits on what brands of filters.

I use fluval filters for my aquatic tanks. I have the Fluval 105, 405 and FX5. I was wondering what diameter of heater I'm supposed to get for these models.
They have two models of heaters, the "200" that is either a 1/2" hose or a 5/8" hose or a "300" that has a 5/8" hose.

I think I need the 5/8" hose for the 105 and 405, but I'm not sure if the hose for the FX5 is too big?

Also, am I supposed to change the tubing on the Fluval Filters to clear smooth tubing instead of the black bumpy Fluval tubing that it comes with?

I had a Hydor on my 55 gallon cichlid tank when it was up and running. The heaters are plain out awesome. I don't think you'll be dissappointed if you get one. If you can't figure out what size one you need call or email hydor and tell them what kind of filter you have and I'm sure they would be able to tell you which one you need.
