They are all safe for your RETF....and a joy to grow also
Hi J Teezy,
Just sharing some personal experience.
Yes , they are all safe- as mentioned. Easy to grow too! They are beautiful.
However , I personally do not use them. I had them at first, but removed them.
I think the little tips ( of most) are just too pointy ! Especially if they inadvertently dry out a little.
To test -try putting the edge and ends of the leaves up to your cheek. Even the edges of some of this leaves are prickly !
See what you think ?
I'm sure your have observed a 'startled leap'. Imagine your frog landing on something sharp.
After saving a red eye from injuries, ( form a pet store) I have learned my lesson.
No sharp objects , including plants, in my enclosures!
When examined closely, some of the fake plant/vines have little pieces of metal protruding out of the stems and vines that could really cause an injury to their delicate skin! That's how my red eye rescue was injured. There were visible sharp metal pcs in his enclosure on a fake vine! This is an extreme example, but nevertheless, true.
Lynn
