I may have a sick red eyed tree frog. I am new to amphibians and frogs and am very worried! Purchased it on saturday night. It has a small discolored spot its nose and is now splotchy all over.
Whoa. I'm new to the species myself, but he/she doesn't look like s/hes doing well. That might be a vet visit no questions asked.
As far as I know, that kind of green discoloration is often a sign of a bacterial disease/infection. I do not know how to treat it, but I advise taking it to a vet. Also, this article might be of good use:

I am in the process of locating a vet that deals in frogs. Thak you for all of the quick replies.
Herp Vet Connection try this site.
I talked to a few vets and they said there isnt much they can do for now. they told me to watch he she for a day or so check temp and humidity. If no improvement bring it into the vet.
xjmav,
????
I'm no vet.
But I do not think that waiting is a good idea, at all !
He really should be moved to a quarantine tank.
Just wondering - What is he sleeping on?
Posting pics of the the entire enclosure, info on exact temp and humidity etc. will really help to provide FF members additional information.
