    Default A couple quick snapshots

Here are a couple shots I took of Grif during her bath the other night. She is almost a year old now and a little over four inches.

I always get scared when I go to grab Pakku's water bowl to change it out. As if he's just gonna snap at me. Ive seen how fast he is >.< He never does, but it still always crosses my mind. I think he's pretty used to me by now tossing crickets in, changing water, misting, etc. BTW Griff looks awesome!

Usually if they bite, it is because they are scared or startled. Or if they are aimimg for food and get fingers instead. :P but if he is used to you, he probably won't do anything. They can move fast when they want to, but mostly sitting in their burrow sounds a lot nicer than using all that energy to lunge at you . I always talk to my frogs before I do anything in their enclosures just so I don't startle them.

Cody goes for my fingers no matter what. He always does his best to lunge half way across the tank whenever I go to take something out. Even when I try to slowly approach him from behind he turns around and bites me. He has bitten me four times, two of them drawing blood. He also tries to eat the tongs, even if I have a 5" Nightcrawler hanging down, he'll still try to grab the ribber tips lol. Crazy froggie .

Grif looks great! At first I thought she was pretty small from the pictures. Then I read the description (the four inches part) and looked back on the picture realizing that you had Grif in both hands! She looks super healthy! Thanks for uploading pics!

**Sigh**.....if only this was true for my Jello!!! She is very deliberate in the fact that she IS aiming to maim!! She will drop food to have a shot at our fingers........every time!
I have tried talking to her and she simply glares at me while I do. She is just a B**ch!!......she takes after me, I guess.....LOL

Grif is gorgeous!!! Keep up the good work!!

    P.S.
I am posting updated pics of some of our juvies in a bit.

Well Jess like we always notice their personalities and I'm sorry that Jello's is a Premadonna Lol! she is the one that broke your Ornates Jaw right? Wow! She could be could be one of the grumpiest Pacman frogs that I've ever heard of. Loki has nipped me once because he didn't like me moving dirt away from his face. He never clamped down though. Grif has stuck me with her tongue a couple times and that's about it. I think Loki and Jello
would make some very adventurous grumpy climbers that would climb to get their owners fingers and escape
