I clean mine out during the day when they're all sleeping and have everything I need ready to go..substrate, dechlorinated water, etc. I have 2 pacs and 3 retf's.

What kind(s) of frog(s) do you have?

Definitely have as much ready ahead of time as possible. I put them in a critter keeper with some substrate while I'm cleaning the tanks. I always give them a snack afterwards too. Grif particularly knows this routine. After I clean her home she sits and stares at me like, "Where is my worm?" You could also try dropping a couple crickets in with the frog while your cleaning. Food tends to help make them less stressed.

I had 2 American Green Tree Frogs which I have had for 4 weeks. Unfortunately, one went to froggy heaven so I only have the one but it is doing fine. It's very active at night and stays on the side of the top left hand of the tank during the day.
I'm not sure what sex it is but think it's a male as I am sure I've her it croak a few times.
