As my name suggests i'm into atelopus toads. haha
I don't have any, but plan on getting a pair of A. Spumaris. Does anyone keep these animals?
If you obtain Atelopus count yourself lucky, plan on breeding them and keep in touch with other keepers. Almost all species of Atelopus are almost gone in the wild due to chitrid, even the populations that have not been effected, biologists are in the process of removing them from the field and placing them in a sterile environment for conservation. I saw a group for sale on a reptile classified not long ago, I'm sure they are all sold. Most likely you will not ever see them for sale again.
I know of two companies now offering Spumaris. One of them will no longer reply to me...not sure why. All atelopus will be extinct in the wild some day.
