I figured I would post some pictures of my tank since I had some help from you guys there are four healthy fbt's living in here.
it may be hard to tell but the background looks kind of like the "river" continues and goes under the bridge.
I am still planning to add some more plants mainly to cover the filter cord.

Nice. Where did you get the background pic? I've been looking for something like that.
I found it at Petsmart today. its a static cling one, a pain in the butt to get rid of bubbles.
how often do you have to change the water/gravel/pool area or will you leave that to the filter alone for long periods?. has the bamboo enough soil/land/earth to root without it starting to rot?
i change the water a couple times a week. i really dont rely on the filter for anything although im sure it wouldnt be too bad as long as it had properly cycled first. but the filter is mainly used to create the waterfall through my peice of drift wood. as for the "bamboo" its not real bamboo all it really needs is an inch or so of water to thrive Lucky Bamboo Quick Care Tips
same here by using a filter for effects only, but i mean the gravel will get rank unless that is thoroughly rinsed also with your water change. looks nice with gravel but to me it will end up starting to be a chore rather than a pleasure to keep the pool mucus free. thanks for the lucky bamboo link, may go for some of these myself sometime. would look nice with a bunch together in a setup.
Really pretty set-up, love it!
