Default A question on the Aquisition of Plastics

I've come to understand that the silicone I purchased (GEII) is most likely not safe to use... However I'm having a very hard time tracking down another suitable building material.

The Home Depot only seems to have very small tubes of clear-colored aquarium silicon, and I would rather not order the stuff from an online vendor because the shipping prices are outrageous.

Do ya'll have any ideas? Where did you purchase your silicone?

So is the Silicone that I've got safe as long as it doesn't have the anti-mold/bacterial qualities? I checked the tube it came in and it doesn't have the mold-fighter stuff in it.

Yeah you can use aquarium silicon but the tubes are small, the GEII stuff that doesn't have mold fighter in it is the door and window one for outside. It comes in white, beige and black.
