Hello from the cane toads in Ireland!!

Hello everyone my name is Steve from Ireland,ive got myself a cane toad and will be picking up another one tomorow,so i would love to get a lot of info on these guys as care sheets are a great thing but hands on experence is always best i find.......any way lookin forward to chatting with you all

G'day from down under mate and welcome

uuuurgh I don't know much about Cane Toads except they are a pest in Australia. I hear they cannot climb, they eat other frogs, lizards, snakes and even small mammals. Cane Toads will also eat food that is not living unlike most frogs and have been seen eating dog food straight out of the dog's bowl lol. They can sometimes grow up to 20 centimetres or so, and they can live in almost all habitats except very dry area's. The only other thing is the obvious milky poison that they secrete from the glands just behind their ears.

welcome welcome!! all i know about cane toads is a lot of people seem to want them and there are laws people seem to break to get them, lol

i think you've got some cool critters and can't wait to see some pics of them!
