Default So...if they're such a pest in Florida...

why don't we adopt all of them? i'm talking about Cuban treefrogs. I found some on Petsmart.com for about ten bucks. How cute. but the reviews aren't helpful...
does anyone know if they make good pets?
I have a frog. She's fat and green. Her name is Gertrude, because she is fat and green.

The Cuban treefrog (Osteopilus septentrionalis) will make an excellent pet. Although, they aren't colorful, they do have a personality, but are noisy. You need a tall terrarium and moist surroundings. They can reach 5 inches making it one of the largest treefrogs. Temperature 74 to 88(F). Feeding is the same as White's treefrogs. Cuban treefrogs can be cannibalistic.

“If we can discover the meaning in the trilling of a frog, perhaps we may understand why it is for us not merely noise but a song of poetry and emotion.”
