the temps are right around 80 on the warm side the cool side doesnt drop below 72-75 as i keep my house pretty warm. Humidity is around 65 70 percent. as far as the bottled water i do know its spring water and i do use a conditioner on it as well. as far as his eating habits he is fed every night around 10 or so crickets every few feeding he eaither gets calcium or vit dusted crickets.one thing is he is still eating like nothing is wrong. i bought a pacman frog about a month ago and he had the same problem for about a week. i gave hime plenty of warm water soaks and he seems (the pacman) fine

When you prepare your frogs substrate do you use de-chlorinated water or spring water to expand the brick or moisten the substrate?

I use only dechlorinated water when i expand the bricks. unfortuantly at this time to to financial problems i cant get him to a vet. i dont want him to suffer so if he doesnt get better how do i euthenize him. i know that is not what people want to hear but i dont want him to suffer if i cant make hime better.

If he is still eating I would hold off on euthenizing him. In my opinion he may have injured himself some how. perhaps he is favoring the leg that is not hurt. Either way I would give him time to heal, it is very possible this could pass in a week or two, they have the ability to bounce back from injury rather quickly. I have recieved shipments of pixies that have had leg injuries front and back that if isolated and allowed time to heal typically pass.

If you do indeed decide to euthenize him, I recommend putting him in a little box, then placing him into the freezer for 1-2hours. Once again I recommend giving him time though.

And do not feel bad about be financially unable to bring him/her to the vet. Not everyone that enjoys there pets are in the position to afford a vets visit. Just to your research and try your best to help him.

How is frog doing? If still hanging in there and having trouble catching crickets might consider giving earthworms (make sure they are not dyed if from bait shop) or breaking off crickets back legs to make them easier to catch.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
