when researching misters i looked at the monsoon and the mistking. From what i've read the moonsoon has a problem with leaking around one of the seals inside the top and when that happens the water gets on the motherboard and therefore renders it useless. Sure the monsoon looks nice but with its nice neat look it seems to fail in functionality / longevity. Read around on the internet you'll see alot of people have had the monsoon **** out on them. I'm going to say you probably paid around 100 bucks for the monsoon. And for that price you can get a mistking. Sure the mistking doesnt look all pretty like the monsoon but I don't think you'll find many people if not any at all who will complain about the mistking. Only thing you have to do with a mistking is make your own resorvoir bucket by drilling a hole in it to attach the bulkhead, but that takes all of about 5 minutes or less, not to mention the mistking pumps can run dry and not be hurt by it. The other thing is that the owner of Mistking is in the hobby as well and designed the system himself. Also his customer service is top notch. When I get my viv build going the only mister i will consider is the mistking for sure. If you go with a mistking would probably be worth the extra $30 to get the zipdrip valve with it as well.
