They are completely different and have different requirements.10.0 UVB would be fine for most reptiles as they need UVB light. Amphibians do not need it and can actually be harmed by it. They benefit from 4 to 6 hours of UVB light a day but that's all. UVB radiation is used to naturaly produce Vitamine D3 in the body. Since the lights that produce the Radiation are usually too bright or strong we provide D3 through supplementation Like the calcium pouders that contain D3. I'm not saying that the shop doesn't know anything about amphibians, but that seems like a bad recomendation on their part.
