Right now, he's a little over an inch. I've had him about 2 months and he's at least doubled in size

Poor little guy. It was kind of you to save him. A friend of mine once rescued an Anole from a plant in Costco.

Whatever it is; it's adorable - that I do know!![]()
Sorry for totally forgetting about this thread. I WILL identify THAT FROG!
Well, the size estimate definitely tells you he's a juvenile... But now I'm pretty sure he's not a Cuban Tree Frogs because of other photos...
Well, I've searched my entire North Ameica Tree Frog Field Guide and really didn't find anything close! I'll do a slower search next time though. Like I said, I'll do my best to identify this frog!
Apparently juvenile Cubans sometimes have blue leg bones visible from below and reddish eyes, Cuban Treefrog, and the skin on the back of the head is fused to the skull, Florida Wildlife Extension at UF/IFAS. That might be some help. Your guy looks to have the large toepads and reddish eyes (though accurately judging colour from photos is not always possible unless every step from camera to screen is carefully calibrated, and the frogs can vary so much on their own).
I'm definitely no expert when it comes to Florida frogs or possible immigrants though. Juveniles can be tricky in any case.
