G'day and welcome from Australia![]()
I just discovered this forum researching for my sick red-eyed , Telus. Unfortunately I had to get him put to sleep at the vet's today. I've had a Cuban tree frog, White's and a fire-bellied toad. I loved frogs at least 40 of my 42 years. I brought tadpoles to the kindergartens and released them every year till hi-school. I now go to areas that have ponds and swamps and rescue eggs and tadpoles (usually) that are going to be developed . I either move them to a pond I have in the back-yard or up in the areas they're natural to. We have local red-legged(not the re-eyed tree frog, these are brown) and the Pacific tree frog. There is nothing like falling asleep to frogs calling in the spring. Unfortunately decades ago the Bullfrog was introduced to the areas for culinary purposes. They have now started eating everything, so biologists and volunteers having been culling them. It's a very sad situation.
Thanks for the great forum , it's definitely helpful. A great idea!

hi im new to if anyone knows um can white tree frogs eat pellet???
Welcome to Frog Forum. I do not own White's Tree Frogs(is what you meant right?) And am no expert, but I do not believe that you will be able to feed them pellets. Maybe if they were crushed an made into a food source like Samurai Reptiles Pacman Food. A good staple would be Crickets(of appropriate size)/earthworms/night crawlers/or dubia roaches of appropriate size. I wouldn't recomend trying pellets as they don't feed like dogs or rodents or even like lizards who will eat such things from a food dish. Unless trained to tong feed they wouldn't accept the pellets as food. Live prey is best.![]()
