Be very careful with dividers that are not secured to the tank. I have heard many horror stories about the frog from one side managing to get through the divider and into the other side. That being said these frogs are canniblistic. And will eat their own kind. If the other frog is of equal size to the other they may fight and injure eachother or worse mortally wound one another. Always use caution. If the egg crates are not made of plastic and are paper or cardboard they will promote fungal growth which you do not want. I would try anf find a better way to divide the tank. Maybe with a piece of plexyglass or actual glass.
Thanks Grif, but these are plastic egg crate. The same that is used to divide large cichlids in fish tanks that you get from Home Depot or Lowe's. I might be new to Pacmans, but I did my homework and not new to animals in general. Father just retired as head vet at OSU Vet med so I grew up around them. Not to be down on pacmans since I love these guys. However, if my 14inch, 2lb Midas can't crash through it as tight as I put them in then these little guys sure can't push through them. I took all the precautions. I should have specified what type of egg crate, but didn't even figure someone would try and use paper or plastic.
