So, I went and dumped some crickets in the vivarium, and then just as I looked down I saw that one of my males was clasped onto the back of my biggest female. He was hanging on for dear life as she was hunting down some crickets. I went to grab my camera and when I got back, they were separated.
I really don't want baby frogs, so I have kept the water levels to a minimum in the hopes that the breeding environment wouldn't be suitable. I guess I'll be on the lookout for eggs now.
Well here's what I would do if I got frog babies:
Sell them to good pet stores so people have local captive breed frogs to sell
Instead of wild caught ones! That is my plan at least...
It's not legal to sell them here, so that one is out for me.![]()
What kind of frogs do you have? I have American Green Tree Frogs and I believe I can sell them in Texas legally.
Pacific Chorus Frogs. I got them illegally by accident, now I have them and I can't release them legally, which is fine, because I do like them. I just don't want to start the process over with a bunch of tadpoles.
What's your state? This could be a issue against our rights, unless that is the state frog, of course.
