Sorry Heather, I forgot to set up the Monday thread!
Tell us about yourself Heather!
Also, for the Tuesday portion of this thread, ask Heather any questions you would like!
Here's mine: What got you into keeping amphibians?![]()
Hi Royce!
Okay, well let's see.....
I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. I lived in Bremerton, Washington and 29 Palms, California years ago when my ex husband was in the Marine's. I've loved everywhere I've been. The scenery was beautiful and there were new critters everywhere I went. Once a pod of 13 orcas swam into the Dyes Inlet up in Washington. You can bet we went out on the ferry
. My ex wouldn't let us go canoeing, lol!
I returned home to Erie and had my beautiful daughter Lindsey. She means the world to me.
In the meantime, I had gone to nursing school and obtained my RN. I have been a nurse for 16 years now and still enjoy it. I work on a medical/surgical unit at my local hospital.
A bit about me myself... I am a friendly, energetic person who loves to explore, travel, meet new friends along the way, and enjoy life.
I have always loved all types of animals and critters, but ocean life is my favorite. My dream is to swim with blacktip reef sharks and dolphins. Someday I will
. Though I can't seem to get anyone to come diving with me...hmmm, lol!

What got me into keeping amphibians?
When we were just kids our parents took us camping a lot. Dad was always showing us the salamanders, frogs, toads, crawfish. We had a blast!
I've loved them ever since!
About 6 years or so ago I purchased some firebelly toads for my daughter. She was 4 at the time. She loved them.
Now I have 3 retf's and 2 pacs.

If you were to become a frog, what frog would you want to be and why?![]()
(4.0.0)
Whites Tree Frog (1.0.0)
1.1.0 Mixed breed dogs
What were you researching that led you to FF for the first time?
Hmmm, toughy, lol!
Although I love the beauty of a red eyed tree frog, I think I'd have to be a toad...a green firebelly toad. They're cute, energetic & playful, and they love to swim.

How I found the ff?
I was searching on google on how to care for a red eyed tree frog. They are my favorite.
