    Default Hyla Cinerea Help

Hello and thank you for taking your time to read this!

I have recently purchased 2 AGTFs and they seemed decently happy at first. Now I had purchased them December 18, 2011! But now, Peeper, my smaller male is the only one that properly sleeps but never seems to come out at night a lot. Snoopy on the other hand stays semi-awake throughout the day, but not very active. He also sometimes sleeps not tucked in but spread out. What is wrong with them and why are they acting weird? I know humidity could be a problem but I have know way of reading it because I can't buy a hydrometer and when too high, mold develops! So how do I fix this with minimum damage to the container, if needed at all.

I'll post some pictures of the frogs and the container soon.

Thanks for reading, and if you plan on posting, your posting!

    70.9 Fahrenheit.
Snoopy, the one that sleeps spreaded, is currently sleeping tucked in behind my filter. He has his bottom in the water. I guess he stays there due to low humidity?

    Another thing.

My mom says that during the day when I'm at school, one of my frogs croak for 5-10 seconds then stops croaking and won't do it again until the next day.

I am not sure what is going on but maybe you could try upping the temps? I have 2 Hyla Cinerea as well and they seem to like the temps between 75-78 during the day and 70-72 at night. You should try to get a hygrometer to keep track of the humidity. I keep the humidity for my frogs at 60%. The humidity is probably low in there and that could be why he sleeps so close to the water. As for the sleeping spread out, I have never heard of that before.
