Not sure exactly what the product is so i wouldn't give a recommendation. Aquarium 100 silicone sealant would be best and has to dry completely before use.
100 sealant in silicone doesn't always mean 100 percent since some contain bio seal or similar to prevent molding and shouldn't be used.
If it say aquarium same in the manufacturers specifications or description then it would be fine.

i picked up some stuff called DAP its for ceramics and aquarium. it says its Aquarium safe and 100% silicone.
