Hi everybody,
I'm new in to this forum, and I couldn't find a identification section (if there is one, please move the thread to the right place).
Usually I use to work on spiders, but on my trip to Bolivia, I found lots of frogs and toads too. So because I really don't understand anything about frogs, I hope for your understanding and maybe you will help me out with the identification of these species.
Almost all of this species where found in the tropical rainforest of Bolivia. Actually all near Rurrenabaque, if that helps for identification. I'm interested in the scientific names of the frogs. Even the genus would help me, if it's not possible to determinate them on the level of species.
If you do have questions about habitat or pictures of different angles, let me know.
Thank you in advance for you help
Best regards from Switzerland (sorry for my English)
Bastian
Ps: If you don't mind, please use the filename if you could identify one of the species. Thanks.
Welcome to Frog Forum Bastian! This link from "Amphibiaweb" lists a bunch of frogs from Bolivia with photos of them: http://amphibiaweb.org/cgi-bin/amphi...-isocc=Bolivia . Hope it helps you ID some of those in your pics.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Hi,
Thank you for the link. Sadly, the pictures (if there is one), are mostly very small. Furthermore are the pictures (if there is more than one), very different. I looked at this side: CalPhotos
and there, the same species looks almost on every picture quiet different.
To me with no clue about frogs and toads is it nearly impossible to find out some of the species.
It would also help me, if I knew the family, that I can contain my search.
Best thanks
Bastian
