Just wanted to let you guys know that bubba is eating about 3 to 4 crickets a night now and seem very happy, I dont think he likes nightcrawlers though because even when i cut them into smaller peices he wont even go for them for some reason but if hes happy with crickets then thats fine. Do you think it is ok to give him one superworm a week? Because i know he loves those since the second i set it infront of he eats it instantly

I keep the superworms spread apart. Maybe once every week and a half so he has plenty of time to digest what he can of the superworm. As for the night crawler problem, this is not unusual. If its new to them a lot of the time they will be hesitant twards trying the new food item. They have to try it though to see if they like it. You could try and be sneaky with the night crawler chunk and drop it infront of him from above to see if he will snatch it without thinking. Sometimes it works. Good to hear he's nack on his food again.

Cranwellies tend to be duller colors usually Olive/green/mixtures or browns/tans/rusty browns. Spott patter on Cranwellies are not as intricate most of the time. Cranwellies also are a little smaller than Ornates. Also the Albino Pacman frogs are a morph of the Cranwelli species. Ornates are usually brighter in color haveing bright greens/browns/reds. They have very intricate spot patterns on their backs and their horns(fleshy projections on the eye lid are the smallest of the Ceratophrys family. A dead give away for ornates can be the false eye spots located on the back of each eyelid. Ornate heads and facial structure also differ from the Cranwelli's.

Hope this helps. Pics would also help if you can get any.

I tell you what, I started having problems with my pacman eating before. There were times where crickets were like walking over his head and I'm like "WTF??". After I finally covered 3 sides of his tank, he destroys crickets everytime they go in. They don't even last 5 mins in there. Its crazy how that works

They need to feel safe and secure. If you were scared of a new place and worried about being killed and eaten would you think about food?

Make sure your guy doesn't eat any of that moss. It could cause him to get impacted. The crickets will also burrow in there and hide. Glad he's doing better though. I offered Jr a worm a few weeks ago and he wouldn't take it. I dropped it in over his head like I do the crickets and he snapped it up without thinking. He looked surprised though, but being the greedy little gluten all pacs are he refused to drop what he had in his mouth. I've had to play tug of war with him over grass a cricket chewed down. I didn't want him eating it, but it was in his mouth so I had to fight him for it.

I dont have any sides to my tank but i think i might pick some up today, but even though i dont have them Bubba still eats fine. Its almost like when people are around it doesnt bother him, which is a good thing i guess. In the pictures i posted before i know i had moss in the tank but i took it all out now so he has more room to explore during the night time since hes normally always out and about during the night time Im going to a reptile expo in the spring with my brother do you guys know if they sell many pacmans there? I kinda want to get a cool red morph.
