My little Tank makes little popping sounds when I unbury him and out him in his water dish. I think he forgets about that shortly after though, as he is munching on a nightcrawler!

Yeah, I knew that females can make noises. I just wasn't sure what kind of noise this was.

My tree frog females make a noise exactly like you describe and its alway when another frog is climbing over them or touching them. It's not at all a distressed sound, its more like "geez man your in my space"..lol
