I use cocoa fiber in my habitats and during a substrate change, I noticed that I have a mealworm colony. I know usually you would use oats and such as worm bedding but what if I just leave it as is in the cocoa fiber? I dump water in the corner for moisture and cereal or cat food and a carrot in the other end. I dont have to worry about the bedding getting moldy. Is there a down side to that? I dont know that I could separate the very small worms from the fiber anyway.
