    Default Samurai

Picked up a samurai blue last weekend. It's hard to capture the color.

Congrats, love the color and symmetrical markings! Careful with that moss on first pic. If you feed your frog in there, have a chance it could swallow it. That can cause problems when passing it through digestive system.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Yeah, I was at the expo and saw the adults. I was really tempted to buy some but my wife put me on a budget of $150 for the show lol. Their high red ornates were also beautiful. Anyway, I held out for the first day and went to the usark auction after the show saturday night (I was working for J.Mugleston's exotics so we all went). Samurai Japan Reptiles donated this little guy, and after some bidding I was able to pick him up, with pac food and 100 superworms, for $50. He was one of the low pattern $80 frogs so I was pretty stoked! My other purchases at the show included a smooth sided toad, and 1.1 greater sirens.

The one in the pic almost looks like a green apple pacman. They look alike. I am setting up the samurai ornate female and my blue male that i just bought from him. He said the female is filled with eggs.

    $50.00 was a good deal
I think my 1st female from him was $320 shipped as a adult.
