    Default Frogs + honey = ?

I keep seeing people on the forum say something about giving frogs baths in honey, something I've never heard of. I've heard of dunking a frog in salty water to kill off potential parasites, but not honey. What's it do for the little guys? Make them all hyper? Or does it possess some sort of healing quality?
If it heals, can I get mixing directions? This antibiotic I've got my frog on doens't seem to be kicking whatever he has.

The luke warm de-chlorinated water honey bath is used to give your frog energy. Only for a short period of time. It also acts like a natural antihystamine which helps block allergens. Mostly used to give energy to weak or lathargic frogs. Can also help them poop if they are slightly constipated. There is no exact measurement for the solution. I always say to make the water only as deep as up to the frogs chin and place 2 to 3 drops in the water. 4 drops could possibly be used as well. You only want to soak them in it once a week or less. As mostly it gives a sugar rush. You could try it out, it does no harm.

so, it's like Metamucil for amphibians? XD Hmm, I might try that.
I have a frog. She's fat and green. Her name is Gertrude, because she is fat and green.

:P He seems a bit erm.. "stopped up" so..tonight I'm gonna soak him in lukewarm water and then tomorrow I might try the honey thing. When my mother isn't looking that is. She might freak out if I take the honey in my bedroom. O.o

LOL!!!! that is really funny. I guess you'll have to find a way to smuggle it out of the kitchen.

Thankfully, I have ninja skills. Mad ones.

Thing is...do I use the regular honey or the legit organic stuff from that's like straight from the comb?

Good luck on your mission then!

Well, I would presume that non-pasteurized would be ideal, but as long as it is 100% honey it's fine. I just use the store brand usually. It works great.

I told my mom about the honey thing, she seemed all for it since I said it was homeopathic. So I didn't have to sneak it out of the kitchen. I put a blob on the spoon and mixed it with some water...

I haven't seen Sticky this active in a long time. Awesome!
