What could that have been caused by? He wasn't disturbed, we didn't get chance to move him over to the different tank as the temperatures were high 70s, so not high enough...

was he force fed like you said your OH was going too? He is also sick from not eating. This is also stressful. He needs food. Do you have 3 sides of the enclosure he is in covered with some sort of background?

We've not tried force feeding yet, I think the idea freaks my OH out a bit... He said he didn't want to do it earlier. >_< Yeah we do, he is next to another frog (can't see each other) and against a wall, and the top is coloured.

Without force feeding him and no vet trip put your frogs survival slim to non. Their is nothing we can do from here except advise. I'm sorry there isn't more we can do. The advise that has been given needs to be fallowed. If not you then your OH. Keep us posted.

Well I just got home, the first thing I did was force feed King, he really isn't in a good state at all. Although he did hve enough power to pee on me, which was lovely!

His eyes don't seem to be working, his bones are all soft, obviously from lack of nutrients for so long.

Although We have some giant Lob worms in, so I chopped the head off once, got his jaw open with a credit card and put the piece of worm in. e couldn't get it in his mouth very well, so I pushed it in more, I can see him trying to swallow, but I'm not sure if he can. I coated the worm in calcium as well! Fingers crossed he can swallow it and he can get a bit of strength up, and I'm going to try again later.

To give him some energy you can soak him luke warm de-chlorinated water with 3 drops of honey disolved in it. Makes sure the water is only up to his chin. You can also try pedialite(unflavored formula) at a 10 to 1 ratio. 10 parts water 1part pedialite. So for every 10 ounces of water add one ounce of pedialite. This must also be in luke warm de-chlorinated water. Food items to be fed to him should be no larger than the distance between his eyes. He is weak and won't be able to swallow anything larger. He may choke to death if the food item is larger.

The Pedialite bath is the best choice because it will provide nutrients and vitamins. You MUST! be very careful. He isprobably suffering from MBD(Metabolic Bone Disease) as well from lack of calcium. This combined with Scoliosis is very bad. Is he even able to move?
