Safe Aquarium Cleaning?

I have a ten gallon aqaurium that I want to maybe put a leopard gecko in. Since July this small enclosure has housed 3 green anoles, 1 five lined skink, 5 green treefrogs (not all at once), 2 american bullfrogs, 1 salamander larvae, and 4 tadpoles (Its a big hobby of mine). All, of course, were catch/release wild animals (except for treefrogs) and none were mixed with other species. All were at SEPERATE TIMES!!!!!!!
What can I do to properly clean this aquarium to be safe for a reptile? Im worried about germs from the many different species. It has only been washed many times thoroughly with hot water and wiped with paper towels.

I use a bit of whit vinegar mixed with warm water to clean my tanks.

As a fish keeper (and one who has kept leopard geckos) I clean my tanks with a mild bleach solution. Fill the tank with water and about a cup or two of bleach, let is sit for 30 minutes or so, then rinse well. It is easy to tell if you rinsed enough -- you can not smell the bleach any longer. Then let dry. I personally can not take the smell of vinegar.

I completely agree with rivkah's method. I also am an avid fish keeper and have an African Fat-Tailed Gecko. 3% bleach solution, sit, rinse until you don't smell bleach (if you're still concerned you can fill the tank again with water and add water conditioner and let that sit, rinse) and let it air dry. I also know of pet stores that clean their tanks/decorations in the same manner.
