Poor little guy looked like he was too stressed in the shipping. Company offered free replacement but said no thanks, asked for a refund. TERRIBLE way of shipping..
Dont ever buy from reptilecity.com!

So sorry to read this ! It must have been just terrible for you, Sorry
Good for you to ask for a refund!
?? Try Mike Novy ( Rain Forest Junkies) or Josh Frogs
I don't know about shipping this time of the year to Texas though.
Perhaps a reptile show near where you live?
You can usually check the vender list for a planned show, and check things out before you go ?

Yes joshs frogs are all captive bred and they have worked with Tree frogs/dart frogs for years
I would never buy from them. Just do a web search on them. You'll see nothing but bad reviews. Even if only 10% of them are true it's enough to turn your stomach!
First off, I'm so sorry for your loss, I would have been pretty upset. On that note, I took the edtra safe route and I ordered my RETFs from mike novy! They arrive tomorrow and I'm so excited. He is a super nice guy. I live in New Orleans (not too far from TX). He is flying mine via southwest cargo, they will only be traveling for 6 hours from what I understand. So they won't get exposed to crazy temps or be traveling too long.

That is horrible news to hear. I'll join everyone here in saying I am sorry for your loss. I got my RETG back in October but prior to I spent a good 3-4 months researching trying to find a reputable breeder. I heard nothing but bad things from most of the places I researched due to them being third party sellers. You want to look for someone who deals specifically with herps. I finally found a place called LLLReptile. They had all great reviews and great prices. It made me nervous overnighting the little guy from California but I was thoroughly impressed. He was packaged perfectly and was completely healthy. He has grown so much and is a beautiful frog. They really know what they are doing as well. Hope the best for you and your future frogs!
If packed well frogs can be shipped in any weather. 1in styrofoam and a 40hr heat pack.
