is culturing those little pillbugs or sow bugs possible?? they are even less than an inch and as tiny as ants! is it possible to culture them my baby ranids wants to eat them , and planning to culture to save time from catching it! is it possible to culture these? how will you know if your culture is pass or fail?
It is very possible
Plastic container, plain / loose dampened soil , food ( try green or yellow zucchini ...lay thin slices on the top of the soil), keep them covered ( one or 2 little air holes), and bugs ! It may take a while for things to get going. Pass or fail ? Well, if they reproduce in the container , I would have to say. You have succeeded!
Do you have a photo of the 'pillbug" you are truing to culture.
