    There are no "phases" or "morphs" it depends on the Tomato frog, males are generally a deep red to deep orange, whereas females are lighter. A different phase would be, say, a green tomato frog.

    sorry phases was the best word I could think of because the one tends to stay on the yellow color and the other the red with everything I had read on them, size is the more reliable sexing on full grown frogs
