    Default Eating red worms?

im having trouble getting my frog to eat red worms even after i cut them for her to eat. she had a large gut loaded cricket yesterday morning so maybe she is still full from that but im out of crickets and only have red worms left. does anybody know how to get their frog to eat red worms?

It depends if your frog is interested in the worms. Likely she is still full from the cricket, but you can try rubbing the worm on her "lips", every time I do this with my horned frog, he bites the worm. Good luck!

Pacmans can be picky eaters. They can be persnickety, especially about trying new foods. Each frog has its own personal taste about what they do or do not like. I had a hard time getting Grif to try earthworms, but once she actually ate one she loved them! Now they are her second favorite food (after horn worms). Cutting the worm so the frog can smell it is one method to entice them, but you are already doing that... are the chunks appropriately sized? Picky eaters will reject food if they feel it is too big or too small. You can keep trying to rub the worm gently on the frog's lips; that usually triggers a response. Good Luck!

Some are die hard cricket eaters for a lot of their life. Some times if you drop one of the worms infront of them with out them noticing what you have they will snap at the worm when it hits the ground. Could try that. Most of the time they are just picky. Atleast she ate.
