Maracyn has at least 3 versions that I know of. Maracyn 1 & 2 work against either gram+ or - bacteria; can use both together if unsure bacteria type.

Also, there is also another product called Maracyn Plus that is a broad scope antibiotic against both gram + & - bacteria. I've had great success using it against fish eye infections and is my favorite fish antibiotic (48 years experience with FW & SW fish). Have no first hand experience with frogs diseases yet and do hope it stays that way.

This article has good information: Frog Forum - Basic Frog First Aid .

If you Google "frog eye infection" will get a bunch of results and appears a drug called "Gentocin;" a sterile buffered aqueous solution with 3mg (0.3%) gentamicin (as sulfate Ph. Eur.) and 0.05mg benzalkonium chloride as preservative appears very successful. Only thing is; need to take frog to Vet to get it.
