    Default Kirby's honey bath

Ok yesterday I found a thread that was exactly like the problem my frog has. It was posted by @hadkins0617 and it was titled "sick whites tree frog... Please help! So you can see where I'm coming from on that post. I commented on it recently so it shouldn't be hard to find...

His problem: he would stay on ground, stay in one spot for long periods of time, days even (usually 2) eat less than often, dark color.

His status: alone, a little over half a yr old, 10 g long, humidity is around 65%, temp around 70 F, and water is conditioned.

Anyway I gave my juvenile WTF Kirby a bath with a few drops of honey. I don't think he liked it lol. But when I took him out he started making clicking sounds as I set him back in his own tank. Just faint little ticking.

Why did he (or she) do that? Is it a baby thing? Is it repertory? Is it call?

Plz comment and help and I will keep updating this post

Never heard my WTF make ticking sounds so can't help you there.

What moss is that in the tank? I'm not a fan of moss with WTFs since they are aggressive when feeding and if its in their mouth, it is swallowed. If swallowing moss, its not pleasant to try and remove if twisted inside them. Just a real digestive hazard and often fatal.

I use coco fiber (Not Husk Chunks) and then leaf liter on top of that to reduce the amount of soil on the frog. Plantation Soil and Eco-Earth are good substrates and digestible or easily passed is swallowed by the frog.

As long as the moss is attached to the substrate or like a sheet and strings of it doesn't just pull away with ease, then it should be fine.

The honey bath is not something to do over and over. Its only giving your frog a sugar rush to get him moving and not to create an appetite.
